Label Love – January Featured Stamp Club

The stamp set for the January Featured Stamp Club is “Label Love” from Stampin’ Up! This set was chosen because you can use it with so many different styles!

Here are the three cards that you can make with the Featured Stamp Club kits. They really showcase the versatility of this stamp set!!!  You can order the “Label Love” stamp set and the kits to make these three cards and coordinating envelopes through my Featured Stamp Club page.

The first card kit features Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! The envelope is lined with the same DSP. Don’t you absolutely LOVE this paper?!?!?!

The card was CASE’d with permission from LeAnne Pugliese. I saw her card on Stampin’ Connection, a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator’s Only forum that is filled with inspiration! I loved LeAnne’s card so much! The only changes I made were minor: I used a different ribbon, the “Best Friend” stamp instead of “Happy Birthday” and a different border punch. I really loved the border punch she used, but unfortunately it is retired.  If you changed the sentiment this could be a “Welcome Baby”, “Thank You”, “Thinking of You” or “Happy Birthday” card.

Label Love, Soho Subway Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!

The second card kit makes a very rustic card, great for a young man’s birthday! Masculine cards always seem to be the hardest for everyone to make! This card features Soho Subway Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!, another fabulous DSP that I love!!!

I embossed the envelope with the same embossing folder that was used on the card front. This card was CASE’d with permission from Mindy Backes on Stampin’ Connection. Here is her original card:

Although Mindy’s card was perfect as it was, I really wanted to use the Soho Subway DSP and the fabulous burlap ribbon that is in the Stampin’ Up! 2014 Occasions catalog. Now that I’ve taken a second look at the photo of my card, I’m wishing that I would have sponged Crumb Cake ink on the edges of the DSP to make it look distressed.

The third card kit in the January Featured Stamp Club kit is my absolute favorite!!! I think it is just GORGEOUS and can hardly wait for someone to get married so I can send it to them!!! What do you think?

Label Love, Gold Vellum, Mr & Mrs.

I love, love, love the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum in the 2014 Occasion catalog from Stampin’ Up! It just looks so luscious and rich! This envelope is lined with Brushed Gold card stock. This could easily be turned into a Valentine’s Day card if you replaced the “Mr. & Mrs.” with a heart cut out of gold foil sheets with the Hearts Collection Framelits Dies.

This card was CASE’d with permission from Cheryl Holtman.

Her card was another that I saw on Stampin’ Connection. (It’s almost worth becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator just to have access to that forum!!!) Cheryl’s card is so pretty, I love this type of fold and hadn’t used it in a really long time.  Isn’t it amazing how just making a few changes gives you a totally different look?!?!?!

You can easily make my three cards with the kits in the PLJ Featured Stamp Club. Be sure to visit the Featured Stamps Club page to get more information and to order the kits!

I truly hope you’ve been inspired today to try using a single stamp set with a variety of card styles!

Peace, Love and Joy,
