I LOVE making banners!!! I wanted to make one for the “Valentine’s Project Round-Up” being hosted by The Silhouette Challenge group on Facebook. (Scroll down for details on how I made the banner.) Silhouette Project #4: Cutest Baby Ever!

I think this is such an adorable baby card! I’ve made this card a lot of times in the past as a baby shower invitation, birth announcement and as a “Welcome Baby” card. So what’s so different about this one???  Besides the darling “Cutest Baby Ever” and the oh-so-pretty Gingham Garden Designer Series paper I used??? Owl Builder Punch / Image (c) Stampin’ Up! I often wonder, is there anything more exhausting than sitting by a patient’s bedside at the hospital?!?!?! Okay, okay, sure, I guess it has been a LITTLE BIT harder on hubby, after all, he is the one who had major surgery for the second time in five months, but at least he’s getting the good drugs! Ha ha!!!Johnny’s surgeons, Dr. Shiraz Patel & Dr. Brian Kern, are FANTASTIC and the nurses here at Lourdes Hospital have been WONDERFUL.  My only complaint is that the Starbuck’s in the lobby closes at 1:00 pm and isn’t open on Sundays! FREE Festive Paper-Piercing Pack from Stampin’ Up!

One week left to get the FREE Festive Paper-Piercing Pack!!!  See “The Fine Print” below. Here are three cards that I’ve made using this set.  The first one is my favorite.  I love the shimmer of the Silver Glimmer paper and I think the pearls add an elegant touch.  I’ve used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on the Very Vanilla background.  The sentiment is from Petite Pairs and it was punched out with the Modern Label punch.
