I first saw him on Frenchie’s website and I asked for permission to CASE him, which she so kindly gave!  Since then I’ve seen various versions of him.  Gail Murray used him on her fabulous fall scrapbooking layout and Rae Harper’s is really cute, too!   That’s where I got the idea for the cute Spice Cake fabric bow. I’m getting excited about the Breast Cancer Awareness Stamp Camp that is scheduled for next week.  This is my 2nd Annual “I’m Dreaming of a PINK Christmas” event and it is in honor of my beloved Mother, Louise Mileur, who is celebrating her 20th year as a Breast Cancer Survivor!!!  Be sure to look at the previous post “Breast Cancer Awareness Stamp Camp”, posted 10/12/2012, to get more info on this event. My baby sister, Monique, is a Pre-K teacher at a really cool private school.  It’s one of the few schools left anywhere that lets their kids celebrate Halloween!  It’s not just the last half hour of the day in the classroom either, it’s the whole afternoon and the entire school is involved with all kinds of games and activities.  The local t.v. station comes every year to film their costume parade! Here are three cards that I’ve made using this set.  The first one is my favorite.  I love the shimmer of the Silver Glimmer paper and I think the pearls add an elegant touch.  I’ve used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on the Very Vanilla background.  The sentiment is from Petite Pairs and it was punched out with the Modern Label punch. This stair-step card was inspired by Beth Rank’s design.  I made just a couple of minor changes. I just love Halloween!!!  I’m the house with the bubble & fog machines at the front door and the “Welcome” mat that makes scary noises when you step on it.  All the neighborhood kids know that as far as I’m concerned there is no such a thing as being “too old” to trick-or-treat.  I don’t even understand why the community has an age limit for trick-or-treaters.  If you are 13, 18, or even 35 years old, and you still think its fun to Continue Reading →

Celebrating  my Mother on World Card Making Day! Learn how I made the fabulous bow on her birthday present  and the Happy Birthday banner on the cake later in this post! ©Stampin’Up!™1990-2012 I just love this silly little witch from Stampin’ Up!’s “Googly Ghouls” stamp set.  We used her on this “Coffin” at our Halloween Themed stamp camp.  It’s a pop-up box that holds Yummy Gummies Graveyard candy skeletons.  Too funny! ©Stampin’Up!™1990-2012 Don’t you just love Halloween?!?!?!  I get so tickled seeing the little kids in their costumes.
