Severe thunderstorms are forecast for today! Oh how I love the way the world smells after a spring storm. That fresh sharp air and the damp musty earth smell…..LOVE IT!!!!
This Spring Rain diffuser blend from Jana’s Apothecary is as close to a spring thunderstorm smell as you can get!
In your diffuser add:
- 3-5 drops Vetiver Essential Oil (One of my favorite oils!!!)
- 3-5 drops of Lemon Essential Oil
Tip: Vetiver is soooooooooo thick that you can hold it upside-down for what seems like forever and you still won’ get a drop out of the bottle!!!. Some people will hold the bottle under their arm for a few minutes to warm the oil, others run the bottle under hot water first. I just take the drop reducer cap off and tilt the bottle slowly, like I’m pouring honey. You can also remove the drop reducer cap and use a pipette or eye-dropper to transfer the essential oil from the bottle to your diffuser.
