Nurse Joyce

I often wonder, is there anything more exhausting than sitting by a patient’s bedside at the hospital?!?!?! Okay, okay, sure, I guess it has been a LITTLE BIT harder on hubby, after all, he is the one who had major surgery for the second time in five months, but at least he’s getting the good drugs! Ha ha!!!Johnny’s surgeons, Dr. Shiraz Patel & Dr. Brian Kern, are FANTASTIC and the nurses here at Lourdes Hospital have been WONDERFUL.  My only complaint is that the Starbuck’s in the lobby closes at 1:00 pm and isn’t open on Sundays!

Johnny’s getting antsy and is anxious to be discharged so soon it will be time for “Nurse Joyce” to take over. When we get home I’m going to make my adorable “Nurse Owl” cards to send to the nurses.  I first made the “Nurse Owl” card for my Mom when she was sick last summer. Everybody just loved it so now it’s my go-to Get Well card.  I think it’s also the perfect card to send to the nurses to say, “Thank you for taking such good care of Johnny!”

Thanks so much for visiting me today!  I hope you’ve been inspired to make a “Nurse Owl Thank You” card for someone that went out of their way to take good care of you or your loved one!

Praying that you and your loved ones stay healthy, but if you do have to go to the hospital, I pray that your doctors and nurses as great as the ones at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Peace, Love & Joy,

Joyce
