SCENTSATIONAL GIFT CARD HOLDER & CHRISTMAS CARD

Gift cards have become so popular.  People love buying them because it’s convenient and they don’t have to worry if it’s the right size.  People love getting them because they don’t have to worry about getting another ugly Christmas sweater!!!  But how do you make it seem more personal???  Make a really cute gift card holder!!!

I love making gift card holders using this pop-up box card template.  Everyone is always really impressed that you made it for them!  You don’t have to tell them that it’s actually pretty easy to put together!  Here’s one we made at our stamp camps this month.  It features the Christmas tree from Stampin’ Up!’s Scentsational Season stamp set.  (Links to PDF tutorials provided below.)

We used Stampin’ Up!’s Be of Good Cheer Designer Series paper to make the belly band around the pop-up box card.  You slide the belly band off and the card pops-up to reveal the gift card inside.

We also made this really cute Christmas card.  My daughter Angie helped with the design of this card.  She also helped with cutting all of the card stock and assembling the kits for my December stamp camps!  She’s such a sweetheart.

We embossed the Gumball Green card stock panel with Stampin’ Up!’s Woodgrain embossing folder then used Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Collection framelits dies to cut out the tree which we used to decorate the inside of the card!
