APPARENTLY MY HUSBAND CAN'T READ!!!

Yesterday we had a wonderful day at my Mom & Dad’s house. When we got ready to leave my wonderful Mother, a/k/a Granny (the one with the “cute little ass”), sent home an assortment of her delicous Christmas cookies & breads.

Notice the labels….they say “Joyce”. Just “Joyce”. Not “Joyce & John”. Just “Joyce”.

My Mother didn’t mean to neglect Johnny, she knew that I would share because that’s the way she raised me…BUT…apparently my Husband CAN’T READ and he thought they said “John”. Just “John”. Not “John & Joyce”. Just “John”.

Apparently HIS mother didn’t teach him to share because this morning, when I went into the kitchen anticipating yummy goodies & milk for breakfast, this is what I found:

WHAT??!?!?!?!?! When he wakes up he is going to be in sooooooo much trouble!!! Next time I bring home my Mom’s delicious goodies I’m hiding them and I’m not going to share one single bite!

My Mom is quite amazing. She bakes all these fabulous Christmas cookies & breads, yummy fudge, peanut brittle & delicious Divinity for EVERYBODY! All seven of the brothers & sisters get packages, neighbors & friends, people my Dad works for, and many more get her wonderful treats! Unfortunately, I didn’t inherit her baking/cooking gene. But thanks to Stampin’ Up! and the Scentsational Season stamp set, I can make adorable gingerbread men and gingerbread houses!

I absolutely LOVE this gingerbread house!!! It was such fun to make!

I CASE’d (Copy And Share Everything!) this design from “Stamp With Heather”. I only made a couple minor changes. I added the wreath above the door and I embossed the door with Stampin’ Up!’s Woodgrain embossing folder. Also, instead of gluing down the top row of shingles, I just attached them with the cute mini library clips that are available on the Clearance Rack! That way you can use the gingerbread house to hold a small gift or Christmas candy!
