My sister asked me to come up with a table top decoration for a party she is in charge of at her daughter’s school. Their theme is a turn-of-the-century fair. When Christmas 2013 arrived I was frantic!!! Unfortunately, both my husband and I had major medical issues throughout 2013, so when Christmas arrived I was totally unprepared.   The November Paper Pumpkin kit was the ABSOLUTE BEST kit since I’ve joined Paper Pumpkin back in August!!!  I loved this kit and made one of the cards exactly as featured on the packaging, it’s even cuter in real life than in the photo….but of course….I wanted to see what else could be done with the kit’s contents so I made several more projects!  My favorite project was the cover for my iPhone! The first big snow storm of the winter started early on Christmas evening.  They were forecasting a blizzard and we woke up to a winter wonderland the day after Christmas!  I was really excited, it was sooooo beautiful…. ….and then reality struck.  Not only was it COLD, a dirty 4-letter word in my opinion, but the snow was deep, which meant it would be a scary drive to celebrate Christmas with the other side of our family.
