Silhouette Project #5: Valentine’s Day Table-Top Screen

I am so IN LOVE with my new Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine!!!  Every time I use it I say, “Thank you Santa!!!”  (Santa a/k/a my very generous husband!!!) Since Johnny was so sweet to buy the Cameo for me, I wanted to use it to make a very special card for our 30th Anniversary, which is on February 11, 2014. I saw a fabulous Valentine’s table top screen on Kate’s Paper Creations and asked her for permission to CASE the project which she kindly gave. (CASE = Copy and Share Everything!) Once I completed the project I was soooooo Continue Reading →

“Noel” November 2013 Paper Pumpkin Craft Kit from Stampin’ Up!

The November Paper Pumpkin kit was the ABSOLUTE BEST kit since I’ve joined Paper Pumpkin back in August!!!  I loved this kit and made one of the cards exactly as featured on the packaging, it’s even cuter in real life than in the photo….but of course….I wanted to see what else could be done with the kit’s contents so I made several more projects!  My favorite project was the cover for my iPhone! I love to change the design on my iPhone to match the holidays! I’ve had lots of people ask me where I got my fabulous iPhone Continue Reading →

Lucky You on St. Patrick’s Day!

Everyone wishes that they were lucky enough to be just a wee bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Fortunately, the Irish generously share their holiday with all of us! I remember when we were little and everyone would show up to school wearing something green so we wouldn’t get pinched. Do kids still do that? If you like to decorate for every holiday then you are in luck! Now you can download Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive “Lucky You” ensemble to print out decorations. Bring some luck o’ the Irish to your classroom or home this year! By Sara Wyman, Stampin’ Up! Continue Reading →

BIRDS OF A FEATHER DSP FROM STAMPIN’ UP! + CLEAR IPHONE CASE = CUTEST IPHONE EVER!

My iPhone has a new Easter outfit!  I love being able to “dress-up” the cover of my iPhone for the holidays, or to match my outfit and my mood! Today my iPhone is wearing three different Designer Series Paper patterns in the “Birds of a Feather” DSP collection from Stampin’ Up! I think it is the cutest iPhone ever!!! Love how all the designs in the collection coordinate so perfectly. Here’s an equally cute “baby chicks” dish for Easter Sunday. Aren’t they adorable?!?!?!?! Almost too cute to eat! Sending wishes that your Easter season is filled with…. Peace, Love & Continue Reading →

SNOW! LOVE IT OR HATE IT?

The first big snow storm of the winter started early on Christmas evening.  They were forecasting a blizzard and we woke up to a winter wonderland the day after Christmas!  I was really excited, it was sooooo beautiful…. ….and then reality struck.  Not only was it COLD, a dirty 4-letter word in my opinion, but the snow was deep, which meant it would be a scary drive to celebrate Christmas with the other side of our family. I’ve not always had a love/hate relationship with snow, and I won’t bore you with the long story of when the love affair ended. Let’s just say Continue Reading →

SCENTSATIONAL GIFT CARD HOLDER & CHRISTMAS CARD

Gift cards have become so popular.  People love buying them because it’s convenient and they don’t have to worry if it’s the right size.  People love getting them because they don’t have to worry about getting another ugly Christmas sweater!!!  But how do you make it seem more personal???  Make a really cute gift card holder!!! I love making gift card holders using this pop-up box card template.  Everyone is always really impressed that you made it for them!  You don’t have to tell them that it’s actually pretty easy to put together!  Here’s one we made at our stamp camps this month.  It Continue Reading →

APPARENTLY MY HUSBAND CAN’T READ!!!

Yesterday we had a wonderful day at my Mom & Dad’s house.  When we got ready to leave my wonderful Mother, a/k/a Granny (the one with the “cute little ass”), sent home an assortment of her delicous Christmas cookies & breads. Notice the labels….they say “Joyce”.  Just “Joyce”.  Not “Joyce & John”.  Just “Joyce”. My Mother didn’t mean to neglect Johnny, she knew that I would share because that’s the way she raised me…BUT…apparently my Husband CAN’T READ and he thought they said “John”.  Just “John”.  Not “John & Joyce”.  Just “John”. Apparently HIS mother didn’t teach him to share because this morning, Continue Reading →

Orchard Harvest Scarecrow Gift / Treat Bag

Orchard Harvest Scarecrow Gift Bag Images (c) Stampin’ Up! Is this not just the most adorable Scarecrow you’ve ever seen?!?!?! I first saw him on Frenchie’s website and I asked for permission to CASE him, which she so kindly gave!  Since then I’ve seen various versions of him.  Gail Murray used him on her fabulous fall scrapbooking layout and Rae Harper’s is really cute, too!   That’s where I got the idea for the cute Spice Cake fabric bow. Images (c) Stampin’ Up! I love his “wonky” eyes!  I can’t wait until this afternoon to share him with my Stampin’ Continue Reading →

YUMMY GUMMIES SKELETON TREAT BOX

©Stampin’Up!™1990-2012 I just love this silly little witch from Stampin’ Up!’s “Googly Ghouls” stamp set.  We used her on this “Coffin” at our Halloween Themed stamp camp.  It’s a pop-up box that holds Yummy Gummies Graveyard candy skeletons.  Too funny! ©Stampin’Up!™1990-2012 Don’t you just love Halloween?!?!?!  I get so tickled seeing the little kids in their costumes. It brings back so many great memories of Trick-or-Treating when I was a kid.  Our town has a stupid rule about how old you can be to go out Trick-or-Treating, but the big “kids” know that  I’m a softy and that I’ll give them candy, Continue Reading →
